Most of our problems revolve around centricity -
I am better than you,
We are better than them.
We create a world where we are centre,
with little regard for others,
if they are not in our sphere of influence,
in our world of direct cause and effect.
What can you provide for me?
How can you make my existence better,
more profitable,
more fruitful?
We -
why should we care about other peoples,
other genders,
other groups,
other species?
This ego-centric and group-centric focus,
it is why our planet is dying.
We say dying because we will be gone -
but others will evolve in our place,
perhaps others who do not make themselves the centre of the universe.
Break out of your shell.
It isn’t all about you.
